Following up to his first performance “LOOP”, “Thinking about us” is a warm, emotional ballad produced by Yaffle (who has also produced songs for Fujii Kaze, iri, etc.). A raw, one-take acoustic rendition of the song, SIRUP’s powerful vocals are fully showcased in this very special version.

The world we live in now is filled with songs about looking forward to a brighter someday
Abstract aspirations like coming together, holding hands
Of course, these are important, timeless themes that I too pursue
But a world where only vague words and empty promises exist, is a world where innocent people are hurt just for being a little different from what is considered “normal”
When we are able to truly reach out, acknowledge each other for our differences, and take the time to think about how we want society to look like, I think that will be when love will truly mean something.
And that is what we must do as a community going forth
This is what I was thinking about when I wrote this song, and when I sang for this performance; all of my prayers are captured in this single take.
