SIRUP and Shin Sakiura have collaborated with Greenpeace Japan, an international environmental NGO, to release a new song “FOREVER” on Wednesday, April 20!
“Nature Sound Project” is a collaboration project of three parties which started with the hope that it will become an opportunity to “learn, think and know” in a flat and familiar way by sharing through music, while focusing on environmental activities mainly by Greenpeace.
“FOREVER”, which was born out of this project, was actually produced by field recording of natural sounds in Countryside mountains. It is a song that brings us back to the origin of our lives and nature, and makes us feel the comfort and power that music originally has.
The space of the music produced by the two who have produced many songs and performed together until now is very natural, and the dance music which makes you want to dance with the up-tempo electro-sound and positive message is finished.
On the same day as the release of the song, a documentary video of SIRUP and Shin Sakiura recording in the field in a countryside mountain and talking with local farmers about the real impact of environmental issues will also be released, so be sure to check it out!
All proceeds from the distribution of this music will be donated to Greenpeace Japan through individual artists to be used for environmental and peace activities.
